Our good friends at Church are blessing us with a huge holiday gift and Collie Connect is taking over your sound waves at Friar Tucks this Sunday night. We have Luke Nukem, one half of the infamous 'ALIAS' that has been tearing California's Bay Area to pieces over the last year making a massive pit stop on his way to his Sub Lab record release party in Texas later in the week. We also have two of SoCal's jungle and dubstep veterans in the building to keep things shaking with a back to back set from Direct Feed and Bodie aka Mainframe. If this wasn't everything you wanted out of a Christmas jam we have the don dadda himself, ERS-ONE, making a very special appearance. Also wrapping everything up we have the badman behind Collie Connect, Whyno, set to run murdah riddims and demolish ear drums. Church and Collie Connect have gone all out for this one so if you are in the area please come out and celebrate your sunday before Christmas with us. It's a big weekend here at Collie Connect, with the release of CCR004 we can officially add Wonkap to the team roster. This up and coming dub strangler is making massive moves and cranking out monster vibes non stop. Not only making waves with Collie Connect, Wonkap is murdering remixes and colabs all over the place. Heavily supported by big players in the game such as Partyharders, Trashing Teenagers, Crux Records and Kiez Beats, watch out for Wonkap's tunes in these badbwoys live sets and remixes out on both labels. We are also very glad to have SoCal's jungle and dubstep veteran Direct Feed working together with Wonkap pushing out some punishing dance floor crashers. Watch out for this colab on CCR005! This colab is a huge step in the right direction for Collie Connect and is a huge blessing and reward from all the hard work behind the scenes. Our main focus is to connect the vibes of Cali dubstep worldwide and not only do we have Californian and Belgian producers together on a single release we have them working together on a single tune. This is our first step in taking the label even further and pushing out world wide colabs from some of the most talented producers to walk this planet. ALIAS. boys are at it again and with their freshman release on Collie Connect right around the corner they are only aiming for bigger and better things. This Bay area duo is made up of Mykie MkFilthy and Luke Nukem, two young cats making a huge impact on the Bay Area dubstep scene. Luke Nukem has already blessed Collie Connect with the massive heater, Bun T.H.C., co-produced with badman d-Queue. Hard at work he is also involved in the next release 'Heavy Artillery EP' which features his collective efforts as ALIAS. with Mykie MkFilthy and also Wonkap's filth bomb, Fireman. Both Mykie and Luke are booked solid slaughtering sound system after sound system in the Bay. These boys are absolutely on fire and are far from being put out. Watch out for both of these fellas on the production and dj tip, smashing out certified bangers and tearing down dance floors from the bay and beyond!

Collie Connect has branched out and grown some pretty tuff roots in Belgium. Up and coming producer, Wonkap, one of the latest additions to the Collie Connect Camp is hard at work out that way. This man is pushing out mind bending tunes on the regular and with top notch mixing to showcase this dubstep heat he is just about unstoppable. Mindfucked is a series of parties in Belgium showcasing some of the filthiest dubstep on the planet. With Jogo, now signed to Chronos Records, Derbo, Black Dog and Wonkap hard at work keeping quality control to the max at these jams you are guaranteed some incredible nights of dubstep. If you are in the area and can make it out to this jam you certainly owe it to yourself to make the trip. Watch out for some huge line ups from Mindfucked in the future and stay locked to this blogspot for updates. Big up fellas!

Bodie - Artist Bio

Bodie, the dubstep alias of veteran Jungle/DNB Producer - DJ Mainframe, was created in 2009. His deep bass, hip hop influenced drum work, and colorful use of ghetto whistles have labeled his dubstep as “G step”. It comes as no surprise that the music being made is so full and smooth, Bodie is a native West Coast resident, based in Los Angeles, and has been making Drum N Bass music since 2000.
In the ten years Bodie has been known to the scene as an innovative junglist, Mainframe, his persona has had five vinyl releases from labels that include Jungle Riddim, Foul Play and X13 Recordings.
Mainframe’s mental reign was powerful, taking the Producer-DJ on three European tours, numerous venues all over the country including urbane spots like Miami, New York City, and San Francisco.
The alias Bodie may be built over a well traveled professional, but it is his West Coast base that keeps the ideas floating fresh. With a kindred connection to the So Cal Drum N Bass scene, inspiration is never hard to find. Bodie can frequently be found collaborating with fellow California based DJ, IRay, aka IDro. 40z n 9z, their most recent project, makes regular appearances on his weekly aired radio show, “Tha Armory” found on DnBRadio.com and will soon have a release out through Betamorph Recordings.
Solo, Bodie has been recognized by labels that include Betamorph Recordings, Section 8 Recordings, Subdepth Recordings (UK), Serious War Recordings, Collie Connect Recordings, and Jungle Riddim’s Department of Dub with releases due to be out now.

d-Queue - Artist Bio

Upcoming DJ and producer from Dallas, TX, 21 year old d-Queue (David Quinones) has only been producing Dubstep for a little under a year, and has already gained worldwide recognition as a force to be reckoned with. Tunes like “Haha,” “Akirastep,” and “Vilebad (VIP)” have shown that this producer can melt faces with intense morphing bass and tricky hard-hitting beats. His diversity conveys itself through tunes like “You’ve Got Mail” and “Hit,” as he explores the calmer, chilled-out side of Dubstep. Reaching peak positions on the Juno (#15) and Digital-Tunes (#2) charts with his debut release, the Hit EP, you can tell that this new producer is only getting started. His second release with Serious War Recordings, Vilebad, is set to hit digital stores in June 2010.
